Greetings!

We appreciate your interest in Community Women Against Hardship (CWAH), a unique organization that has been serving the St. Louis Community for over 35 years. CWAH was founded on the aspirations of the late Founders Gloria Taylor and Betty Lee, who were beacons of hope for nearly 10,000 families since 1988. Our distinctive approach, which focuses on addressing and providing solutions to the persistent issue of poverty in our community, sets us apart in our mission, and it will pique your interest.

We appreciate your commitment and support, especially during a time when we continue to face challenges in our political landscape. Despite societal transitions, CWAH remains steadfast in its commitment to the fight against poverty, a testament to our resilience and determination, as well as your integral role in this effort.

As a two-person staffed organization, meeting the needs of our families can be a challenge. CWAH is strengthened not only by our supporters but also by our outstanding volunteer leaders! Our Board of Directors, the CWAH Ambassadors, organizational and church communities, community members, students from St. Louis University and the University of Missouri-St. Louis is part of our cadre of volunteers. They regularly, tirelessly, and enthusiastically lend a helping hand to staff and families alike.

As the new Executive Director/CEO, along with LaTricia Williams, our new Family Coordinator and Administrative Assistant, we remain unwavering in our commitment to providing personalized services and programs. Our goal is to strengthen our programs and services by increasing volunteer engagement and establishing meaningful partnerships with educational institutions, workforce development organizations, and other relevant entities. It is also our desire to increase capacity by expanding our contributor, donor, and grantor base

Ms. Taylor and Ms. Lee laid an incredible foundation for us to continue building, advocating, and serving our community. In the spirit of gratitude, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to you, our supporters, for being a beacon of hope for so many. Your support is invaluable, and we are deeply appreciative of it. We couldn't have done this without you.

Best Regards
